The publication "Decentralized Cooperation in Latin America. A view from the South-South "cooperation is the result of a process initiated in 2016 and aimed at establishing a channel for reflection and exchange of experiences on South-South decentralized cooperation and the role they can have the governing national entities international cooperation. This paper has been prepared on the basis of inputs provided by 17 Latin American countries through a survey as part of a consultancy commissioned by the Technical Unit of PIFCSS, by the international expert Agustín Fernandez de Losada, as well as the reflections and exchange of experiences emerging a workshop in San Jose, Costa Rica, on 29 and 30 June 2016.
