Passbook guidance for political organizations and citizenship: joint work plans with the global development agenda 2030

Tools

This booklet aims to facilitate the development and review of the work plans of political organizations that will participate in the general elections of February 2017 in Ecuador, as a frame of reference to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This booklet includes a short introduction of each ODS and proposes a short questionnaire to illustrate the way could be included in the work plans of the candidates for President of the Republic and the National Assembly. The aim is to achieve political commitment to the implementation of Agenda 2030 in Ecuador. With this publication, UNDP and the United Nations System made available to the public a practical tool to analyze the proposals of political organizations in the light of assumed by Ecuador commitment to incorporate the ODS in their planning processes, as well as public policy and legislation.
