Cities are spaces that connect local actions with global actions and provide visibility and proximity to the different actors involved. More than half of the world's population lives today in cities and it is predicted that by 2050 it will reach 66% (UN, 2014). This guide is addressed to the governments of the cities of Latin America and the Caribbean as a tool to support the design and implementation of local public policies on international human mobility from a rights perspective and in line with the 2030 Agenda.
