Guidance and systemization of experiences

Dear colleagues, We have the pleasure of inviting you for a hybrid Brown-bag session on a new publication entitled the Atlas of Informal Settlement: Understanding Self-Organized Urban Design, which was recently published and came out of the work done by Informal Urbanism Research Hub (InfUr-) at the University of Melbourne. The Brown-bag is scheduled for Tuesday December 5th from 11:00am -12:30pm (EAT) and will take place in the OED boardroom (joining online is possible through Microsoft Teams: Meeting ID: 367 352 180 104. Passcode: RDBooD) The brownbag will feature an 1) introduction by Matthijs van Oostrum on the scope, origin and methodology of the Atlas; 2) an extended overview on the insights and lessons drawn from the cases by Kim Dovey, Professor of Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Melbourne, and Director at InfUr-; 3) and reflections by Kerstin Sommer and the PSUP team, followed by a Q&A We look forward to seeing you there.
