In order to meet Belgium's international commitments, Wallonia is committed to implementing the Program and monitoring progress in this area. The Action Plan for the 2nd Walloon Sustainable Development Strategy contains an action plan for drafting a report on the implementation of sustainable development objectives (SDOs) in 2017 and every three to four years thereafter, of ONU. This first report contributed to the preparation of Belgium's national voluntary review at the High-Level Political Forum in July 2017, a year in which each country is invited to participate to report on progress made in the implementation of the Program 2030. With regard to the first report, he described the initial situation of Wallonia on the way to reach the SDGs.
