We the mayors for the SDGs

Posted by Hanne Albers, VVSG vzw April 27 2020 0 Local experience

In Flanders (Belgium), local governments and its association (VVSG) are working hard towards localizing the SDGs. More than half of the Flemish municipalities have integrated the SDGs into their multi-annual policy plans (2020-2025). However, many people still don't know what the SDGs are. To make the SDGs comprehensible and compelling, the VVSG has made a video 'We the mayors for the SDGs'. In this video, Flemish mayors (differentiation in gender, age, geography and political background) explain in easy language and in their own dialect what the SDGs are and why they are important.

The original Dutch video has been translated to English and French
